||
|
We are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of racially aggravated assault - causing actual bodily harm – on Southampton Road, Eastleigh, between Southampton Airport Parkway Train Station and Lakeside Centre. During the incident, which occurred at approximately 8.10pm on Tuesday 17 March, it’s reported that a man in his 20s was approached by three unknown boys or men, aged between 17 and 20 years. The victim, who reported being racially abused, attempted to walk away, but was then surrounded by the group. He was then twice punched in the head before being able to run off. Thankfully, the victim suffered only minor injuries as a result of the unprovoked assault. The trio were described as wearing black tracksuits and black jackets. One of the group was on a bicycle. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed anything of the incident, or anyone who has any footage of it, including dash cam, mobile phone and CCTV. If you can help us, please call 101 and quote incident number 44260127978.
